Usage

To use the ASC Reader, specify the plugin with the --plugin option of the adtf_dattool, i.e.:

adtf_dattool --plugin /path/to/reader/bin/asc_reader.adtffileplugin --create file_with_data.adtfdat --input /path/to/frames.asc

Note: It is not necessary to specify the reader explicitly because only one reader is defined in this plugin.

Example with reader id:

adtf_dattool --plugin /path/to/reader/bin/asc_reader.adtffileplugin --create file_with_data.adtfdat --input /path/to/frames.asc --readerid asc

Output

For each input ASC file exactly one stream is created in the ADTFDAT file.
The generated stream is named substreams and contains substreams for the bus data found in the ASC input file.
The Substreams are named bus.<BUSTYPE>.<BUSTYPE><CHANNEL>, i.e. bus.CAN.CAN5 or bus.FR.FR1.
